Aaron Meskin joined the Department in the fall of 2005. Before his move to Leeds, Meskin taught at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
His current interests include the imagination, the ontology of the multiple arts, the semantics of aesthetic adjectives, and the aesthetic issues raised by comics and graphic novels. He serves on the executive committee of the British Society of Aesthetics and is a Trustee of the American Society for Aesthetics. He is co-investigator on the AHRC project "Method in philosophical aesthetics: the challenge from the sciences."
